Maria
Maria is our Lead Technician, and has been with us since 1996. She received her B.S. in Animal Science from URI in 1999, and became a Certified Veterinary Technician in 2006. She is married and has two daughters. Her home is also blessed with many pets: Lei-Lu the boisterous Heinz 57 (mixed breed), and two orange cats named Nicholas and Troid who can be found wrestling in the living room. Her interests include spending time with her family, hiking, and cycling. She is also proficient at various handicrafts like knitting and sewing.

Amy joined the Oaklawn Animal Hospital team in 2008. She has attended the University of Massachusetts in Lowell, pursuing a degree in Psychology. She has previous veterinary experience in Massachusetts and at a local emergency hospital. Her interests include traveling, spending time on the beach, photography, cooking and volunteering. Her interest include traveling, spending time at the beach, and shopping. Amy has 2 cats named Sarabi and Juniormint and a beautiful daughter who keeps her very busy!

Fran
Fran is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been at OAH since 2006. Her calm demeanor and ability to quiet even the most upset cats has earned her the nickname of “Cat Whisperer”. She has worked as a technician for many years before joining our OAH family, and has an associates degree in Applied Science from Newbury Junior College. She and her husband Tom share their home with many animals. Fran also spends time writing and is interested in photography.
Christine
Christine has also been a technician with OAH since 1998. She has obtained her associates degree in Accounting from CCRI . She is currently attending Bryant University part-time to obtain her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting. Christine currently has three cats, and would love to have a yellow Labrador Retriever someday. Most amazingly, she has trained her cats like dogs: they can walk on a leash, sit on command and give their paw for treats!

Crystal
Crystal is a Certified Veterinary Technician who has been with the OAH family since 1998. She has two Jack Russel Terriers and two horses at home. She is married and has a son named Dylan. Her interests include gardening and going on walks with her family and dogs. She also enjoys riding her horses. She received her technician certification in 2006 and is currently pursuing a specialization in veterinary dentistry.

Ashley has been a technician here at Oaklawn Animal Hospital since 2006. She began her career as a technician in 2003 and has never looked back. Ashley shares her home in Cranston with her cat named Bing. Her hobbies include going out with her friends, shopping and spending time with her family.

Dina
Dina has been a veterinary technician for over 18 years. She began her career immediately after high school graduation. Her two best friends are a Rotti mix named Ransom and a Chihuahua named Gibson. Besides taking care of them, she spends time at the beach and enjoys being outdoors with family and friends. But most importantly, there is nothing else she would rather be doing than working with and taking care of animals.
Rachel
Rachel was born and raised in Central Falls, RI. She graduated from Mount Ida College in Newton, MA, with a degree in Veterinary Technology. Rachel joins us after working over 20 years as a veterinary technician in the Boston area. She has owned several rescue pets over the years, and currently shares her home with Chance, a Labrador retriever, Chuck, a Cavalier King Charles spaniel and Velvet, the cat. She plans to enroll her dogs in a pet therapy program. Rachel also enjoys gardening and landscaping projects along with exploring the local parks and wilderness with her dogs.

Carrie
Carrie has been a Certified Veterinary Technician for 3 years. She received her bachelor’s degree in biology at the University of Rhode Island in 2007. She joins OAH after working 7 years in emergency medicine. Carrie shares her home with her son Christian along with 3 dogs and 5 cats. In her free time she can be found hiking with her dogs (Morgan, Talia and Stinky), playing soccer or line dancing. Her new favorite hobby is being a mom!
Daniel
Daniel has been a veterinary technician for over 15 years. He started his career during high school where he found great enjoyment in helping pets in need of veterinary care. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with his children: Alizié, Daylin and Alexis. He also enjoys playing soccer with his 5 year old French Bulldog, Bronxx.
